Carle Health Pekin East on Griffin 

The new 60,000 square-foot three-story medical office building in Pekin, Illinois, is a strategic response to the dual national challenges of enhancing healthcare access in under-covered areas and driving operational efficiency through scalable solutions. Completed in late 2017, this state-of-the-art facility was designed to replace two outdated medical office buildings, allowing UnityPoint Health Pekin to consolidate services and better serve the community. By centralizing healthcare services, this project not only improves patient access but also fosters collaboration among healthcare providers. 

The design prioritizes creating a warm and inviting environment for patients, aligning with the overarching goal of enhancing the patient experience. The careful engineering of this space addressed the complexity of modern medical requirements, allowing for high-tech infrastructure while maintaining an approachable atmosphere. To achieve this, pre-construction drawings were meticulously coordinated with all contractors, ensuring efficient construction and a swift build-out. 

By centralizing healthcare services in this innovative facility, we are not only addressing immediate community needs but also paving the way for future growth and development in Pekin.
